Living in rural New England, where there is an abundance of pine, maple, and other varieties of trees. Be it a fallen tree against the house or a tree blocking the drive, it became necessary to learn to Chainsaw. In the process I learned four vital keys to getting the job done.

  1. Know your equipment including all parts and their function.
  2. Safety is the most important thing. Wear proper clothes. Know when to call a professional.
  3. Use the correct techniques for removing tree limbs (limbing) and cutting down trees (felling).
  4. Be prepared physically.

With over ten years of chainsaw use and through the consultation of certified arborists and mechanics, these guides and newsletters are the foundation of competent Chainsaw operation.

We look forward to hearing from you.
